Youth Empowerment Multipurpose Society

Youth Empowerment Multipurpose Society is an independent, non-governmental and non profitable social organization established by a group of like-minded youths with experiences in different sectors to promote youth capacity development and provide opportunities to youths. It is registered with District Administrative Office as non for-profit social organization with the registration number is MAH-157/15(NAGPUR)

YEMS works across youth development, professionalism, health, education, research, environment, and women empowerment to support marginalized communities. Through skill-building, research-driven programs, and community participation, it creates opportunities for youth and improves living conditions. Founded in 2015, YEMS primarily operates in Maharashtra but also extends its initiatives to underserved regions across India, focusing on women self-help groups and sustainable development goals.

Our Vision

Our main aim is to provide youth professional skill development and learning opportunity for Youth, poor and excluded society generation focus to strengthen them. We plan to achieve our aim by developing, testing and delivering evidence-based, feasible and cost-effective intervention relating to professional and social development with greater involvement of youth Programme and communities. We support the government initiative aimed at poverty reduction in line with the sustainable development goals and targets.

Founder

Founder President of YEMS.

Mr. Ashish Koche, Founder President of YEMS, has over 15 years of experience in the social development sector across NGOs and private organizations. He is a strong leader with expertise in management, administration, and fundraising, and has successfully led various youth empowerment programs and research initiatives.

He is known for his strategic thinking and ability to manage operations efficiently, coordinate teams, and handle critical situations. As a key leader, he provides direction and governance to the organization, ensuring effective implementation of programs and overall growth and impact of YEMS.
